Fee & Scholarships
Processing Fee: 1,500 per category/program (Non-Refundable).
Deficiency Course Fee: Extra fee applicable for students without an Intermediate Mathematics background admitted to BS Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics.
Scholarship Info: Specific scholarship details are not mentioned in this advertisement; applicants under the Disability Quota must provide a ‘Disability Certificate’ issued by the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department.
How to Apply?
- Submit online admission forms at gcuonline.pk.
- Deposit a non-refundable processing fee of 1,500 per category/program at any UBL branch by 17-01-2025.
- Payment via mobile apps or UBL Omni is not acceptable.
- A separate admission form and processing fee must be submitted for each category/program.
- Hard copies/printouts of the admission form are not required to be submitted to university offices prior to merit list display. Shortlisted candidates must present physical forms and credentials during interviews/document verification.
Criteria & Eligibility
- GCU Entrance Test: 30% (Minimum 50% passing marks)
- Interview: 20% (Minimum 50% passing marks)
- Intermediate / A-Level Marks: 40%
- Matriculation / O-Level Marks: 10%
- General Eligibility: Intermediate with minimum 50% marks, or A-Levels with three subjects (IBCC equivalence required).
- Special Qualification Rules:
- BS Mathematics, Physics & Statistics: Candidates must have studied Mathematics (200 marks) at Intermediate/A-Level. Those without Mathematics may apply on the condition of taking additional deficiency courses after admission.
- DAE Holders: Eligible for BS Electronics only.
- Com Holders: Eligible for BS Commerce only.
- Reserved Quota: 2% combined quota available for Minorities and Special Persons.
- Basis of Admission Categories: Open Merit, A-Level/Equivalent, Hifz-e-Quran, Old GCU Students, Overseas Pakistanis, Disability, and Minorities.
