Ghazi University (GU) DG Khan has announced Spring 2025 admissions for a wide range of BS, MS/MPhil, and PhD programs across multiple faculties. Applications are invited online through the university’s official admission system, with the last date for submission set as 17 January 2025.

- Merit List Display (BS / B.Ed 1.5 Programs): January 21, 2025
- Merit List Display (Postgraduate Programs): January 27, 2025
Fee & Scholarships
- Admission Application Processing Fee: 800/-
- GU Departmental Test Fee: 1,000/-
- Scholarships Available: Need-based and merit-based financial assistance programs including PEEF, MORA, HEC Need-based, Honhar Scholarship, and others.
How to Apply?
- Fill out the online admission form available on the official website: gudgk.edu.pk.
- Upload soft copies of relevant academic and personal documents along with the paid bank challan of Rs. 800/- on the online portal.
- Hard copies are not required at the initial application stage.
- Applications are strictly accepted online.
Important Information
- Domicile & Open Merit: Candidates with Punjab domicile can apply on Open Merit.
- Reserved Seats: 5 seats reserved for Self Finance in each degree program. Reserved seats (in BS programs) are available for children of Ghazi University employees (Teaching & Non-Teaching), Shuhada, Disable, Minorities, Overseas Pakistanis, and Nominees of Tribal Areas of D.G. Khan, AJK, FATA, and Balochistan.
- Special Quota Application: Candidates from AJK, FATA, and Balochistan must apply for BS Programs through their respective Government Departments.
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit for BS programs is 24 years (age relaxation subject to approval of the competent authority).
- Hostel Facility: Available for females only, subject to seat availability.
- Class Commencement: Evening class commencement depends on the availability of a minimum of 25 students in the degree program.
- Entry Test & Merit Rules: Candidates with valid NTS GAT results do not need to appear in the GU Departmental Test. Merit calculation involves matric, intermediate, undergraduate marks, gold medals, publications, interviews, and test scores according to program criteria.
Provisional Admission: All admissions remain provisional till verification of original documents. The university reserves the right to drop any degree program.
