Fee

Processing Fee: Applicants must pay the prescribed processing fee for MPhil and PhD programs. Original receipt of admission processing fee must be provided at the time of the written test.
Specific fee structure breakdown and scholarship offerings are not listed on this banner poster (refer to the university website and online portal).

How to Apply?

Online Portal: Submit online applications through [https://eportal.iub.edu.pk](https://eportal.iub.edu.pk). Hard copies of the online application form are NOT required at the time of submission (original documents + 2 photocopy sets are required at the time of admission).
Incomplete Applications: Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.

Important Information

Testing Requirements:
- MPhil / MS / MSc (Hons) / MBA: Master’s degree (16 years of education) with minimum 2nd division under annual system or CGPA 2.0/4.0 under semester system. Must pass GAT (General) test conducted by NTS or IUB departmental test with at least 50% marks prior to admission.
- PhD: MPhil/MS or equivalent (18 years of education) with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 or 60% in annual system. Valid GAT (Subject) result conducted by NTS/IUB with at least 60% marks before admission. Candidates with a valid pass score in GAT (General/Subject) issued by NTS do not need to register for IUB test.
- PhD Admissions Open Year-Round: PhD admissions remain open throughout the year subject to obtaining a consent letter from a supervisor with an available vacant seat.
